Mick Lawrence
Runes-

Most authors would suggest that the best way to obtain runes is to make them yourself. They can be made out of stone or wood, and can be carefully carved or painted to your own design. Mick agrees with this view, but recognises that not everybody has the time or the confidence to create their own runes like this.
Mick makes runes for sale. These runes are made from pebbles from a sea shore on the North Northumberland coast, close to the historic Viking victim of Lindisfarne.
The runes are collected, cleaned, engraved with their symbol, and then painted with their symbol twice, once in silver, and once in gold. The rune is then coated in a varnish to preserve the paint, and placed into a beautiful organza bag, from which it may be used.
